goodbye, i'll let you go

This website was 'created on' 15-Apr-2002 22:32:20 UTC

Was that a Monday? So around 10:30pm, on a Monday night in 2002, I created this website? I believe it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't true, as well. Stupidly --or by accident-- I registered this website until 2012.

I'm sure you know that this website is slowly drawing to a close. I cannot say that I am on the internet on even a weekly basis, and I also have very little to add to the world wide web anymore.

I will probably continue to contribute photos to various internet projects. I am dying to buy a Nikkor VR lens soon.

I don't know why it's so difficult for me to just shut down this site. So much of my life, happiness, sadness, etc has been documented and/or found through the internet. Strange and awful, but true. I didn't think it would be fair for me to delete everything, and I honestly didn't want to declare a hiatus only to come back a week later.

So, to sum things up: Things are ending. Soon. No longer stay posted. Instead, entertain yourself elsewhere.

:-(

I hate to say that, but I feel like it has to be said.

:/

I never commented a great deal, but I did enjoy your ramblings. I stopped blogging at d-s a long time ago too, though, so I can see where you're coming from. Eventually the spark just... goes.

I kinda saw this coming but that still doesn't make it any easier :( I've been coming here to read your updates for more than a few years now and I will miss the site when it goes. Hopefully you'll be able to stay in touch in other ways, such as your Flickr account and other things. Either way, I know I won't be the only one to miss the site and your updates.

Very sad. Maybe you can revive your site at a later date. Let us know if you do!

As a long time fan of all things Stacy I am really sad that I will no longer have a way to stalk you. It's weird how long I've "internet-known" you... from the crazy cam - e/n days to the current site...

At any rate, I'm glad that things seem to be going well in your life. Hope to catch you randomly on the world wide web every now and then.

I have to admit I will miss you. I have been reading your blog for years and have always looked forward to what you had to say. I wish you the best... and I guess I will just have to get over the crush I have on you ;-)

Well, obviously, I'm going to miss seeing you around! If you're ever in Hawaii, the wife and I will buy you a really awesome dinner.

I think a lot of bloggers have thought about quitting (I know I have a time or two). There is a life out there - people to spend time with, fun things to do and just plain being in the world... all of the things you can't experience when you're sitting at a computer spitting out your thoughts on a screen. Hope you enjoy your time outside of the blogosphere.

You've been keeping this site going for so long just for me. Admit it.

It's been a long time since I've checked in on you, and even longer since I've commented. I wish you peace, love, and success in all of your future endeavors.

Die blog die! ... I stopped updating mine a long time ago. I might just take it down by the end of the year, or who knows, i may continue to do something with it, just not for a blog.
